This massage is a fantastic way to address areas of concern while still allowing time for your body to unwind and rejuvenate.
115 Minute - *$165.00
The utmost in pampering. Your ares of concern will be addressed with exceptional attention with ample time to allow the world around you to fade into the background as your body relaxes, your mind unwinds and your soul renews.
Gua Sha, Cupping, Reiki, Aromatherapy*
These are optional, complementary add ons to most massage services. I may recommend an add on to your massage depending on what I feel as I work. You may inquire about use as well, prior to the start of your massage session so we can determine together if an add on is beneficial to your needs.
*Contraindications may limit my ability to use certain techniques during a massage. I approach each massage as a unique experience.
Gua Sha is a long standing, muscular scraping technique with many benefits. It is rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. According to those principles our Qi or energy must move smoothly throughout or bodies. When our energy becomes stagnant in certain areas, it may contribute to an abnormal state that disrupts normal body function. With Gua Sha I will use a smooth-edged tool to gently scrape areas of your body where inflammation, which may translate as pain, has accumulated in your body. In short, Gua Sha is a tool assisted form of massage
Cupping is a long standing healing technique rooted in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The benefit aligns with the use of Gua Sha, though instead of scraping, cups are used to create suction in an area of Qi stagnation.
Reiki is a safe, gentle, hands on, form of energy based healing. It was developed by Miikao Usui in the early 1900 is Japan. It promotes relaxation, stress reduction and anxiety through gentle touch. I incorporate Reiki into my massage sessions using my hands to deliver energy to your body, with the intent of improving the flow and balance of your energy to support your bodies ability to heal.
Aromatherapy - Pranarom is the Organic essential oil line we use. It is a Minnesota company with strict quality guidelines. We believe in only the best for our clients. The use of scent in a massage is a personal choice. Unscented lotion will be used unless you specify interest in Aromatherapy.
Stone Massage
Hot stones will be used to manipulate the muscle tissue. No need for deep pressure as the heat of the stones allows the muscles to let go more easily.
